Bethel United Methodist Church is a significant fellowship of faith comprised of all ages. We are in a rural setting within a short distance to the Richmond metro area. Bethel was established in 1834 and continues to serve as a compassionate community helping to serve physical and spiritual needs in Goochland, and around the globe.

Bethel welcomes all people through “open hearts, open minds, open doors”, and “open hands.” Our Mission Statement is: “Proclaiming God’s love through Spiritual growth, grace, prayer, compassion and hope to all people, as we serve God and serve others.”

Christ invites all to his table of Holy Communion who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another.

Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. All are welcome.
